Standard Cancellation and Refund Schedule
More than 72 Hours Before Charter
Qualifies for: Complete refund minus any processing costs
Processing Duration: 5-7 Business Days
Processing Fee: €50 for credit card transactions
Requirements: Must be submitted through written communication such as email or telephone
24-72 Hours Before Charter
Qualifies for: 50% of the full cost of the charter service
Processing Duration: 7-10 Business Days
Processing Fee: €25 is deducted from the refund amount
Requirements: Cancellation must be justified; administrative expenses are applicable
Less than 24 Hours Before Charter
Qualifies for: No refunds are provided
Exception: We may consider extenuating emergency circumstances
Alternative Option: A credit for charter services may be offered based on managerial judgment
Requirements: Proof for emergencies is necessary
Weather-Related Cancellations
Our Commitment to Safety
Our foremost concern is safety. If the captain, who is officially licensed, assesses that weather conditions are not suitable for sailing activities, we offer various alternatives:
- Full Refund: Issued if it is impossible to find another suitable date
- Rescheduling: Transfer the booking to an alternative date without incurring extra fees
- Charter Voucher: Issued for use within 12 months from the original sailing date
Procedure for Weather Evaluations
Our evaluation of weather conditions consists of:
- Analyzing wind patterns and velocity
- Assessment of oceanic waves and sea status
- Forecasts for visibility and precipitation levels
- Adherence to Coast Guard notifications and cautions
- Critical safety reviews by our experienced captains
Decision Timeframe: Decisions regarding cancellation due to weather are finalized a minimum of four hours before the planned departure.
Refunds in Medical Emergencies
Emergency Conditions
We extend our sympathies for unforeseen medical incidents. The following scenarios may be considered for special dispensation:
- Unexpected ailments or injuries that necessitate hospital care
- A family death of immediate relation
- Military assignments or impromptu recalls
- Legal obligations including jury summons or subpoenas
- Natural disasters that impact travel itineraries
Documentation Needed
For emergency-related refund inquiries, please provide:
- Valid medical records or hospital issued papers
- Death certificate, if the situation involves a family passing
- Official military directives
- Legal demands such as court subpoenas or jury notices
- Emergency announcements or travel advisories
Procedure: We will process refunds for emergencies within 3-5 business days after obtaining the necessary documentation.
Cancellations Due to Operational Issues
Vessel Malfunctions
If the vessel earmarked for you encounters mechanical difficulties that cannot be promptly resolved:
- Replacement Vessel: We aim to supply an alternate of similar standards
- Complete Refund: Offered if an adequate replacement is not available
- Partial Refund: Granted if the alternative vessel has a different price scale
- Compensation: Extra recompense might be provided to account for the inconvenience
Unavailability of Crew
In the rare occurrence that certified crew cannot be provided:
- A substitute crew will be arranged when feasible
- A full refund if the charter is unable to proceed
- Options to reschedule at no additional cost

Refund Method
Refunds will be remitted using the original payment medium:
- Credit Cards: Within 5-7 business days
- Bank Transfers: Within 7-10 business days
- Cash or Cheque: Within 3-5 business days
Charges for Processing
Credit Card Transactions
A fee of €50 applies for cancellations conducted earlier than 72 hours prior to the charter
Bank Transfers
There's a €25 fee applicable for all bank transfer refunds
International Transactions
Additional charges might be imposed for international transactions
Vouchers Instead of Refunds
Issuance of Charter Credit
Charter credits might be extended as an alternative to refunds under particular conditions:
- Cancellations notified within less than 24 hours of the departure
- Cancellations pertaining to weather conditions
- Upon requests for voluntary rescheduling
- Any operational disturbances
Charter Credit Details
- Validity: Usable for 12 months following the date of issuance
- Transferability: Credits are non-transferable and must be used by the initial recipient
- Monetary Value: The full value of the charter is upheld (exempt from processing fees)
- Usage: Applicable towards any future charter bookings
- Expiry Date: There will be no extensions past the 12-month period
Compensation for Partial Services
Disruptions During Charter
If your sailing experience is interrupted due to reasons within our oversight:
- A pro-rated reimbursement compatible with the unutilized time
- A note of credit equivalent to the available charter
- Complimentary offerings or advantageous upgrades
Terminations Related to Guests
Charters ended prematurely due to client misconduct or code violations will result in:
- No reimbursement for unutilized portions
- Liability for full payment
- Potential surcharges
Settling Disagreements Over Refunds
If a conclusion regarding refunds is contested, you may:
- Appeal for a review by our executive team
- Supply extra documents or proof
- Engage with consumer advocacy bodies
- Seek authorized avenues as permissible by law

Our crew will confirm receipt of your petition within 24 hours, compare it against our policy, provide an outcome within 48 hours, and honor approved reimbursements within the mentioned timeframes.
Essential Considerations
- Each plea for reimbursement must be submitted in a written format
- Repayments are offered in €, independent of the original currency used for payment
- It is highly recommended to consider travel insurance coverage
- This policy can be altered with a notification period of 30 days
- Refunds will adhere to the relevant taxation laws and directives
